Christmas Decor Ideas
There's a lot to do to prepare for the holidays and perhaps the most fun is in planning the Christmas decor. You probably want your home bright and cheery when family and friends come to visit. Most folks like to display traditional decorations and that, of course, includes a Christmas tree. If you're looking for a more modern style, there are a plethora of products with a contemporary cant to them.
Fiber Optic Christmas trees have become fashionable and they alight the ambience of a room.
More Christmas Decor Options:
- A small Fiber Optic Grass tree in a pot comes in a merry gold color but need not be just for the holiday season.
- A willow tree could be an unusual option for Christmas decor.
- Pre-lit Christmas trees are easy to assemble and come furnished with clear style lights. A stand and transformer are included. Colors come in green or white like snow.
- I've even seen a gold rotating fiber optic 'candle' tree provided in a pot and decked out with bows, candles, gifts and tinsel. A gold or white angel would top the tree off in style.
- Outdoor ornaments will please the child in all of us, especially artfully designed red and white Santa statues, snowmen with blinking lights or glittering gold reindeer.
- Don't forget the poinsettia plant in your Christmas decor plans. My favorite is red.
- Painted pine cones and beaded cone trees always add a festive look.
- Wreaths are available in beautiful shades of gold and the latest ones have unbreakable baubles.
- Christmas card holders are both fun and functional.
- Christmas themed napkin rings, red, white or gold tablecloths, and various decorative center pieces will add the festive touch to your dinner table.
- Some folks like to display a nativity scene; lighted or not.
So now it's Christmas Eve—the tree has been decorated—the final items of Christmas decor to put up are the Christmas stockings. All that's left is to wait for Santa to arrive.
