Last Minute Gifts - 5 Best
Did you forget to purchase a present for a particular person this Christmas? Did you get invited to a Christmas party at the last minute and need a few gift ideas? Or, maybe you're shopping for someone now because they are difficult to buy gifts for. Not to worry. Here are the 5 best last minute gifts:
1. Gift baskets are number one. It's easy to assemble one for a family or an idividual. Simply get a cheap wicker basket, add some wine (or non-alcoholic beverages), cheese, crackers and cookies—you're good to go. Add a pretty bow for that festive look.
2. Games make great last minute gifts for folks of all ages. Get a board game for a family. Or, they might like a card game, like Uno. For an individual, look for a puzzle. You can get a simple, flat, 2D puzzle, one of those sliding piece image puzzles, or—my favorite—a 3D puzzle.
3. For a boy under 10 years old, a toy car is always appreciated. Try Hot Wheels; they're easy to find in many stores and reasonably priced, as well.
4. For a girl, how about a doll? Barbie and other dolls are also simple to secure. What girl doesn't like a doll? A doll is a last minute gift no-brainer.
5. If you're still perplexed about what present to get, a gift card is still an acceptable alternative. If this last minute gift is for a teenager, though, give them cash instead—wrapped inside a holidy card, of course. Teens don't like to be told where they should shop.
