Have you got your Christmas lights for yard decorating yet? You know what I'm talking about. It's the holiday season ritual for many American households. Some of us like to go all out when it comes to Christmas decorating. That and, we also like to compete with our neighbors. Of course it's all passionate holiday spirit.
For yard appeal last year I really went crazy with Christmas lights. You could walk or drive by my house and be virtually blinded by the glare of it all. My neighbors probably thought the second coming of Christ was here. What degree of Christmas light madness are you going for this Christmas season?
Many people compete to be on top, if you haven't already noticed. Some in my neighborhood even like to toss out those massive Christmas lights for yard decorations that are lit and or animated. Last year I was overcome with amazement by how decorative folks got. Santa Clause and many little reindeer were on top of my neighbor's roof. The whole thing was animated and covered with fake snow. How many reindeer did Santa have anyway? It's all in good fun though.
This year we'll see who is the most creative when it comes to Christmas lights for yard and house decoration. I plan to bring the North Pole to my front lawn. I'm talking about the whole Santa house with the elves making toys and even animating it with Christmas light controllers. I can't wait to see if my neighbor is going to try and top that.
You may want to go and visit your local megalomart right now. They always carry truck loads of outdoor Christmas lights for yard decoration, props, animated figurines and artificial trees. Just pick and choose from the vast selection. I figure that now is the best time to avoid the crowds. But in reality, you may have to wait until the day after Halloween for them all to be put on display. This is the seasonal schedule, as I remember it.
On the flip side, you can always browse the Web for outdoor Christmas lights for yard decoration and much, much more. Hop on and see what you can find.
