A personalized Christmas ornament is a carefully considered keepsake that can be an appropriate gift. The original date for my—husband's and mine—wedding ceremony was set in October. I was originally disappointed to discover that our church had booked a wedding for the week we had planned on. But having our wedding in November turned out much better.

Some of my bridal shower guests gave me Christmas ornaments to remember the wedding by. In fact, a guest—and close friend—presented a dazzling personalized Christmas ornament that was a representation of our first Christmas together. My daughter was born one week after her due date but I still made sure to complete the personalized Christmas ornament as soon as possible. Now we put up our wedding ornament first followed by our daughter’s dedicated decoration.
