Table Top Christmas Tree

Not until I became an apartment dweller, did I realize the size of the problem. The Christmas tree size, that is. My first apartment was hardly big enough for Heidi and me. How was I going to decorate for the holidays—I was clueless at Christmas time. Not decorating was not an option. As luck had it, my square foot calamity was corrected: my mother arrived with a terrific table top Christmas tree.

I proceeded to place the diminutive tree on top of my coffee table and decorated it enthusiastically. When I was done donning my tree with decorations, I was immensely impressed with the results. The lights surrounding my main window were wonderful and I located the now lustrous table so that my wonderful table top tree was viewable, alfresco. I received kudos from several neighbors.

Arguments for a Table Top Christmas Tree

Aside from the space issue, there are other reasons to go with a table top Christmas tree:

Year after year, I've seen more and more people come to the decision that full-on decorating is too much trouble for them. As opposed to purchasing a live, full size Christmas tree, they've gone out and bought an artificial table top Christmas tree. Some still decorate other areas of their homes. But now, they don't have to deal with moving furniture to fit a large tree for one lousy month. They don't have to fuss over plenteous pine needles being deposited in every room. And, they don't have to haul it out curbside after the season is over.

An artificial table top tree stores easily in a closet, attic or basement. Maybe you won't even want to take off the decorations each year. More time for other activities during the holidays.
